Synaptic Mythos

This four-part series follows the familiar arc of emotional processing: denial → anger → grief → acceptance. Each panel anchors one phase; first a f*ck it towards pain, then erupting anger and confusion, then depression and bargaining, and finally a calmer openness. So that, read from left to right, the sequence feels like a compact map of how the brain circles grief and gradually finds new footing.

Branching lines echo neural pathways condensed by habit, while abrupt shifts mark the capacity for reorientation. The layered construction shows that once ingrained beliefs soften, emotion no longer blocks meaning but deepens it; life remains meaningful even amid turbulence.

A continuous dialogue sounds, between disbelief and anger, between sadness and surrender; visible without any single stage drowning out another. Charcoal passages cross and still keep their character: feelings can coexist, while choice still sets direction. Flexibility outpaces rigidity; the mind practices adapting until values-driven action can take hold, without any one mood taking over.

The façade of denial crumbles under the heat of anger; anger, met by sadness, loses its edge; sadness, acknowledged, makes room for acceptance. The quartet proposes that calm holding, not suppression, let’s peace take root: every emotion belongs, but none needs to rule.

This process repeats. Stay aware of where you are and choose to move forward. Do not let anger and confusion become a fixed address; keep things flowing, so that what feels ragged today can read as a line tomorrow.
