FAQs
What is the difference between an original work and an edition?
1
An original work is unique and made by hand. A ‘Signed edition’ is a limited reproduction of an original artwork, produced with close fidelity to its scale, detail, and character. Each work will be signed by hand and an unique ‘Certificate of Authenticity’ is made.
Are editions released in limited numbers?
2
Yes. Each edition is released in a strictly limited quantity. The edition size is specified individually for each work.
Will the work include a certificate of authenticity?
3
Yes. Original works and limited editions are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
Is the edition number shown in the photograph the one I will receive?
4
No. The number shown in the photograph is for reference only. Editions are supplied in ascending order within the available release.
Why are imperfections retained in the reproduction?
5
Each reproduction is kept at a 1:1 scale with the original. Small irregularities remain visible as part of the work’s material presence and original character.
Why does part of the image sit behind the passe-partout, spacer, or frame edge?
6
The dimensions follow the original work exactly. As with the original, a small part of the composition may fall behind the passe-partout, spacer, or frame edge as part of the intended presentation.
Is framing included?
7
Unless otherwise stated, frames are not included. Where framing is available on request, this is indicated on the product page.
How long does shipping take?
8
Orders are prepared for shipment within 5 working days. Delivery times vary depending on destination and carrier.
